RDA, Lead Surgical & Dental Assistant

Roxee is an RDA and our lead surgical assistant. She has been in the dental field for 27 years and joined Perio Center of Excellence in 2013. Roxee enjoys assisting our doctors in innovative techniques that they have learned in their various continuing education. She also loves getting to know every patient and has a gift of making them feel comfortable during their treatment.

She is originally from Arizona and has lived in Texas for 15 years. In her free time, she enjoys cycling and spending time with her family and friends.

Office Manager & HR Director

Katie is delighted to represent Perio Center of Excellence as Office Manager and HR Director. She is originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, but has lived in Houston for 32 years. Prior to her position with Perio Center of Excellence, she worked for four years in General Dentistry, and recently transitioned to Periodontal and Oral Surgery. Assisting patients and encouraging her team in excellent patient care is rewarding and important to a successful dental practice. Her years of experience in management has provided her with the knowledge and tools to manage a successful office and business atmosphere. Prior to her transition into the dental field, she worked for seven years in the medical area with cancer patients in Oncology and Hematology. Now, she finds joy in seeing our patients leave our office with a beautiful and confident smile! She is honored to lead a talented and hardworking team, who work with our patients, as they make them feel they are the most important person in the world! And they are!

In her private life, she enjoys walking her Pointer, Bub, at the park, spending time and boating on the lake with her family, as well as painting and singing karaoke.

RDA, Surgical Assistant, Front Desk Coordinator

Lauren was born and raised in Huntsville, Texas. She graduated from Huntsville Dental Assisting school in February 2023 and also received an Associates of Science in Graphic Design from Rasmussen University in March 2022. Lauren has always enjoyed helping others and making them feel welcome. In her free time, she likes to listen to music, read books, and spend time with her loved ones. She thrives to work hard and continue learning.

RDA, Surgical Assistant

Isabella (Bella) born and raised in Houston, comes from a background of many talents. She has experience in cosmetology and is a licensed and experienced medical assistant. Her love for dental compelled her to switch roles as a dental assistant and she started her career with 3 years of general dentistry and 3 years of being a lead surgical assistant in periodontics. Due to her extensive knowledge and experience, she has been a wonderful addition to our office. Outside of dentistry, Bella has a love for animals and sunflowers and is passionate about working with rescues. Her other hobbies include hiking, basketball and soccer which she shares with her daughter. If Bella could choose one thing in life to last a lifetime, it would be a tradition of Christmas vacations.

Financial Coordinator

Cynthia was born and raised in Warden, Washington and has recently made a big move to Houston to be able to spend more time with her family. We are excited to have her as one of our front office coordinators as she is a wonderful addition to our team. She started her career 13yrs ago as a dental assistant in General Dentistry but wanted to make a change to expand her knowledge in the clerical aspect of Specialty Dentistry. She excels in greeting our patients with a cheerful spirit and sharing her beautiful smile the minute each patient walks through the door. In her free time, she takes pride in being an aunt to 5 incredible boys. On her days off, you can find her spending time with family, listening to music or exploring the city with friends.

Dental Hygienist

Melanie joined us in June of 2024 and has been a joy to our team and our patients. With over 21 years in dentistry, she graduated from Blinn College Dental Hygiene Program with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene and offers her elite skills as a Registered Dental Hygienist to our patients as well as our team. Prior to joining our team Melanie practiced General Dentistry for 20 years. She took off to focus on family and to navigate what her next step in her journey in Dentistry would be. Excited and eager to return to dentistry, she was impressed by the challenge of Periodontal Disease and Oral Surgery. She wanted to expand her knowledge and continue to polish her expertise in Hygiene, but most importantly how she could make an impact in her community providing thorough oral health education. She is very gentle with her patients and offers a calm and relaxing dental cleaning experience.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and as a Real Estate agent accompanying clients in finding their dream home or property.

Marketing Coordinator

Elizabeth joins Periodontal Center of Excellence with many years and expertise in sales, marketing and her favorite, networking. Nothing brings more joy to her than connecting with people for the greater good of humanity. After attending college, her great grandmother needed her help as a caregiver. Her great grandmother was the woman that influenced her and created the ultimate bridge between people, personally and professionally. There she fell in love with helping the aging community. After realizing that she had a heart for others, especially the elderly, she decided to start her career in healthcare in an assisted living where she worked as a Rehab Aide for Occupational and Physical therapy. In the past 10yrs, Elizabeth also has had a passion and excelled in networking as she created content and used her vibrant personality to nourish relationships using her networking skills. We are excited for her to help in promoting our practice by creating and establishing new relationships. She is excited to immerse herself in our community and inform and educate patients about the importance of good hygiene. On her personal time, she likes supporting her beautiful daughter, Jacqueline as she roots her on from the sidelines of track and field.

Front Desk Coordinator & Education Project Manager

Tessa is our newest addition to our team at PCE as both Front Desk Scheduling Coordinator as well as Educational Project Management and brings a fresh smiling face every day.

Originally from Bryan, TX where she was homeschooled, she relocated to Spring in 2022. Before joining our team, Tessa contributed her expertise by working at the Children’s Museum of Brazos Valley scheduling and preparing events. With her administrative experience, we are blessed to integrate her skills while exposing her to the importance of a consistent oral hygiene routine and how we are able to change lives by creating the smile our patients deserve.

Outside of work, she enjoys going to concerts, gaming, journaling, spending time with her friends, boyfriend, and her cat Sophie.
