Brush Gently, With a Non-Abrasive Toothpaste
Titanium dental implants are extremely durable, but you still want to treat them with an extra level of care. Use a non-abrasive toothpaste and soft (or ultra-soft) toothbrush to clean them twice per day.

Floss Your Implants Daily

Wrap the floss in a “C” shape around your implant and gently rub the side up and down, extending just a couple of millimeters below the gums (but do not force the floss down if it will not go.) Lift the floss and wrap it around the next tooth or implant, being sure to clean each one throughout your mouth.
For areas under fixed bridges or All-on-4 implants, you’ll want to use something special like a floss threader or water flosser to reach areas that aren’t as easily accessible.
Floss each tooth at least once a day.Take Care of Your Gums
Your gums are the protective and connective tissues over your bone, which is responsible for retaining your new dental implants. If there is any type of inflammation or gingivitis present, you need to let your dentist know right away.
Usually, mild gingivitis is reversible within a couple of weeks of re-vamped home care. But if symptoms persist, it could be a sign of a more serious problem, known as peri-implantitis. This form of gum disease is a common cause of implant failure, so it’s crucial to see your regular or cosmetic dentist in the Woodlands. Visit Your Dentist for Routine Cleanings
